DJ Crystal Ellis was born in the beautiful islands of Hawaii. Her dad is from California and was stationed in hawaii during his time with the air force. Her Mother is a Hawaii native and was working on base in the 80's. They met, and thus we have Crystal, and the family had to move to California just a few years after Crystal's birth. She has been living in and loving Southern California ever since. As a young adult Crystal went from beach town to beach town in orange county. She went to school and recieved a license from the state of California as an Esthetician. She found herself working multiple jobs such as a waitress and insurance receptionist, all the while dreaming of "hollywood." She finally built up the courage to quit her jobs and made the move to LA in 2007 to persue her dreams in the entertainment industry.

Crystal started out doing gogo dancing at the young age of 20 due to her love of music and the nightlife. She traveled dancing all over the country, even as far outside of the country as Guam. Quickly she was noticed and began modeling. She earned titles in bikini pageants like Miss Hawaiian Tropics in Huntington Beach and Miss Rehab in Las Vegas. This led to various magazines, such as Lowrider and High Times; and spokesmodeling for Nationwide companies, such as Pastease and Giovanna. She was in the video "Naughty Girl" alongside Beyonce. She did fashion shows in the Bahamas and was in a modeling pageant in Jamaica. As fun as it was to see a bit of the world and the spotlight, she just wasnt fully satisfied yet. She had the desire to become more successful, more well known, and just knew that clubs was where she belonged. She had been djing at home for years just for fun to fulfill her musical cravings- but was way too shy to ever reveal her secret talent to her peers. Eventually she realized that spinning vinyl was her passion, that was where she belonged- in the DJ Booth. So in 2008 she decided to push her bashfulness aside and make her djing debut!

In the past 2 years, Crystal's acceleration in the DJ Industry has been one like no other. She may have started out with a small gig in a Shopping Center store window, but that was very short lived. She was fortunate enough to be approached by DGI Management immediately, who has helped build and flourish her career. Although an amateur in 2008, her natural talent was quickly acknowledged and she began bringing in high profile events. Her first year, she spun at the Playboy Mansion! She has also spun at events with Celebrities like Donald Trump, Jenny McCarthy, Kim Kardashian, Carmen Electra, Jayde Nicole, Brody Jenner, Danity Kane, The SuperCrew, LMFAO & DMX to name a few. She has traveled through many states in the USA, and has even gone to other countries such as Canada, and Mexico.

Once she bared it all and was given the title of "Playmate" for an international edition of the highly respected and well known publication Playboy, her career sky rocketed even higher than before. She toured Mexico multiple times sponsored by companies like Playboy, Skyy Vodka, and Mazda. Press conferences with TV cameras and photographers became a part of the touring process. Paparazzi followed her around and she was on the news, as well as printed in newspapers and entertainment magazines. She is now working in Las Vegas on a fairly consistent basis, and is even working on a tour through Europe. 

Altough she started as a hip hop/ top 40 dj, she has since been perfecting her skills and broadening her musical knowledge to contribute to nightlife. Now spinning just about everything so she is prepared for any part of the world: Hip Hop, Top 40, Electro, different genres of House, Reggae, RnB, Old School. Crystal even participates in battles amongst a male dominated lineup, and placed 3rd place in one of LA's "Beezo Battles!"

Throughout all the changes and success she has come across in her career, she remains true to her personal morals and family values. She is a hard worker, treating every gig as if it were her own event. Always prepared, on time, and never a diva! She is very appreciative and humbled by her accomplishments, and a day doesnt go by that she doesnt realize how lucky she is to have done so much in such a short amount of time. And most of all, she knows this is just the beginning!!!
